Schauzer

The miniature Schauzer is the outcome of the result of crossbreeding between the standard size Schauzer and one or more smaller breeds like Miniature Pinscher or Affenpincher and poodle. The aim was to create a smaller breed of standard Schauzer which proved successful.

By the end of the 19 century the Giant Schauzer became an extremely popular participant at German dog shows.

During the First World War, the Giant became an excellent police and security dog and also a battle-tested war dog.

  • Very dominant breed.

    Like any other dog miniature Schauzer requires proper and regular grooming.

    Schauzers are some of the best hypoallergenic pets. Teacup, Toy, and Miniature Schauzers are terriers. Like all dogs, mini Schauzers require regular grooming to help them fit in with the rest of the family. The wiry coat of Miniature Schauzer is easy to take care of.

    The most common problem that a Miniature Schauzer owner faces while playing with his dog is when the dog hurts himself in the face and even worse, in the eyes.

    Gentle pressure can be used on your dog's rear if required. Dominant older Miniature Schauzers dogs will respond well to the total "social attraction" regimen of training with praise and leadership too.: Miniature German Schauzers are small dogs that make good family companions, are usually fairly healthy, require little exercise and shed very little but, as with all breeds of dogs, require strong pack leadership to prevent behavioral problems and require regular grooming but any animal smaller to them can suffer the attack of Miniature Schauzer.

    Not too sure which type of dog to buy? Now that you kbnow a little about this breed of dog, one question remains -- Is a Miniature German Schauzer the right breed for you?

    Keep in mind that most dog fights will usually break out between two females.

    Miniature schauzers are great dogs for people without fences as they do not tend to wander from their home and it is highly intelligent, easy to train, friendly, and they love to play with kids and friends.
